Dr. Jiménez’s Professional Tapestry:
LEADERSHIP, IMPACT, and INNOVATION
About Me
Stanford-trained Psychologist | Executive Strategist | Resilience Expert
I’m a Stanford-trained psychologist, award-winning author, board-certified executive coach, and leadership strategist working at the intersection of behavioral science, business, and human resilience. My focus is helping high-performing leaders navigate ambiguity, scale influence, and lead with precision—especially under pressure.
I’ve coached Fortune 500 CEOs, private equity partners, and high-growth founders through their most pivotal moments. My current work includes deep partnerships with top-tier private equity firms, helping investors and their portfolio executives sustain long-term performance while navigating rapid change.
As a keynote speaker, I’ve delivered talks at institutions including NASA, Columbia University’s Zuckerman Institute, the Stanford Hoover Institution, Google, and Raytheon Technologies—equipping leaders with science-backed strategies to lead under pressure with clarity and resilience.
I didn’t just study resilience—I’ve lived it at the cellular level. I’ve recovered from neurosurgery, survived a near-fatal ICU crash, and rebuilt my health after 11 surgeries. That history informs everything I do—from how I lead, to how I help others stay whole while scaling impact.
Earlier in my career, I served as Vice President of Coaching Innovation at BetterUp, where I helped build the world’s largest digital coaching network. Today, I serve on the Executive Board of Abroad.io, bringing wisdom-based leadership to global retreats.
I’m the author of The Burnout Fix (McGraw-Hill), which received the 2021 International Book Award and was named one of the best books on burnout by Business Insider. My work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Fast Company, Wired, Bloomberg, and NPR.
I’ve summited Kilimanjaro, studied dance at Alvin Ailey with my jaw wired shut, and rebuilt strength one micro-movement at a time. These days, you’ll often find me rock climbing or cycling up steep switchbacks—still testing limits, still learning what the human body (and spirit) is capable of.
At my core, my purpose is to educate and empower others through science to lead and live with greater vitality and impact.
